You will notice if you look above and below my Avatar that I am new to this forum as an active contributor.

I have though enjoyed reading many thoughts and conversations on here.

So following the final purchase of project Mercedes I entered my details and started asking Questions.

One thread answer came from Ian B Walker at 124 Works in Kirkham ... index .

The result of which meant a trip to the said establishment and a pleasant one it was.

The fix is not yet sussed but the means by which it will be sorted - is in view. Just watch this space.

I would like to offer my thanks to Ian and the lads there for their help, honesty and immediate remedy to what has now most likely become a very short project and hopefully fully functioning and cared for MB.

More importantly can I offer a BIG SHOUT OUT for Ian and the lads at 124 Works. Top Fellas.

Steve is a very nice man. He even made me a brew.

Sorry buddy I should of mentioned you in despatches being a fellow MB member an all!!!:thumb:....................and very welcome you made me aswell.

... did you get, find or take Hob-Nobs ?

We must know the most important aspect of the repair.

Ahhh good Q !!! A second visit is at this moment being prepared dependant on a package arriving from Somerset. As my daughter has just made enough mixture for double the Welsh Cakes she had anticipated cooking I may be offering these as an "upgrade" on the normal faire tendered.......assuming she dosen't burn them?
