17 plate e class front windscreen wipers

I received the above Valeo Silencio this week, and fitted in about 2 minutes, including opening the packaging.
They seem to work great, and just as well as I remember the old Bosch Aerotwin working when they were fitted (I took off the old Bosch Aerotwin).

Valeo part number 574491 for the twin pack

For compatibility, check you car on the Valeo website.
You can do a VIN check here:
Now that was very useful, thank you Mr Greedy. According to that, Valeo produce the same type wipers that I need for the R231 part number Valeo 572325. Just need to find a UK supplier now.
Update, the UK suppliers that I've found so far are more expensive than Mercedes dealers!

Ha ha! I've just check Valeo 572325 on eBay, and several jokers are looking for £170 for a pair 🤣

Get to the dealers 👍

Mercedes Edinburgh or Newcastle will do you a good deal on the blades

Gone are the days when the MB Parts Department person offered to fit your blades or replace a faulty headlamp bulb as well as give you a discount!
I was once charged 20 minutes for replacing the wiper blades on a Passat while the car was in for service. However, I never received the bill as presumably they lost the credit card chitty...that tells you how long it was ago!

It's a joke m8. Next it'll be labour charge to remove dust caps to ad air.

MB blades can be specific depending on the model and then the connector. Its a sly tactic tbf.

I just get mine from MB saves all the hassle of messing with 3 types of connector to realise none of them will fit.

MB ones - straight of the box and clip on in less than a min.

Only gripe is they last alot longer than the appearance of the yellow label which in itself is an annoying change me now advert....lol

That's a bit like your inkjet printer telling you your black cartridge needs replacing when it's actually got a month's worth of print left in it :(
