Some of us wouldn't let anything other than a self held brand new sponge or sheepskin mitt near our paintwork let alone a jet wash in someone elses untrustworthy mitts

i do agree but some are not adverse to the odd washoff for vanitys sake just a thought but each to there own

My Coupe is dirty now, it will be dirty tomorrow and also dirty on Sunday Looooooong way to travel in mucky conditions and apart from which my Mrs reckons its her car so she can wash it Monday

The diff arrived at 5:25pm! But unfortunately can't be fitted tonight

I've tried to twist George's arm but he's closing early tonight.

He will get it on a ramp at 9am and will try to get it back on the car asap. If he gets it done quickly i may pick it up and shoot straight down, but its dependant on George now.

Washed mine today, but the wheels are filthy as ever and as I have 167 miles to do, I'll do them when I get there (maybe).

My apologies for not making it. Managed to get the diff in but the bonnet refused to shut!! After 2 hours in the bodyshop realigning the bonnet it finally shut. By that point it would have been the late afternoon by the time i would have arrived.

To make things worse the re-rebuilt diff still whines!! Not as bad as before but still noticable. Time to name and shame Southern Axles in Watford
I've now decided to try and find a second hand diff but its like gold dust as mine is LSD.

And just as my day couln't get worse i realised the car doesn't get into my driveway! Need to raise it 1/2 inch to get it to clear the slope
