Have a few cars at the moment and just picked another one up.
It's a pretty nice car to be honest, has been very well cared for by it's previous owner, an aircraft engineer with good attention to detail.
But, I need a few W201 parts myself and this car could prove more useful in spares to me + I'm not sure if I've got time for another project right now.
So - 1993 Sportline M102 4-cylinder 1.8 with auto box. Spruce green metallic, biscuit/beige cloth trim.
Complete car, runs and drives nicely (receipt for automatic gearbox overhaul at a specialist (££££) and a replacement cylinder head gasket + other bits)
New front wishbones, track rod ends etc. Plenty of receipts, well serviced.
Like I say, I'm not sure exactly what I'll be doing with it, but if you're after any specific parts please let me know and it could help me decide
Good parts of note:-
Front grille - frame, insert + mercedes star all VGC
Mirrors, headlights, indicators, rear lights, electric aerial etc
Towbar with electrics
Bumpers, side cladding, all panels VGC
Boot lid and 'Cosworth/16v' rear spoiler - VGC (has newish looking MB parts sticker so assume it has had a brand new boot lid at some point)
All mechanical/electrical parts - OVP/fuel pump relays, K-jet system, alternator/wiper motor/mech, blower motor, etc.
Good lock set (2x keys, same locks all round)
Clean interior, dash/cluster/door cards all VGC.
Good engine, gearbox, diff, sportline suspension bits, sportline steering box etc.
Like I say, let me know if you're after anything. I would want the front seat subframes, front window mechs (manual), wheels and a few minor bits for my 2.5-16 project.
If there's enough interest I'll probably break it, if not I'll sort out a couple of bits and get it back on the road again for someone
