1989 Gembella 500 SEC Widebody LHD

Love the £100 private...

Nope don't like it and YES its been on here a few times before..

Its an odd thing to value...

how many people are looking for one....

Also how well has it been 'done up' for sale.....

Its probably too much and not actualy a good standard?... I havn't seen it so purely guessing.

oh right i wounder why it has not sold then to highly priced ?
T'was sold at Auction for £1200 (IIRC) as little more than a shed with matt paint and a velour interior - there was some debate here about it's originallity and the fact that it could be a very genuine car. It reappeared very quickly (perhaps a little too quick for a proper job) on e-bay in current form.

Current ebay advert is the 4th I think.

Were the funky door handle covers exlusive to Gembellas?

They are standard SEC door handles color-coded.

Wheels are Gotti, period correct and what was originally fitted to the car. 16" is all an SEC needs....AMG's widebodies also used 16".

Hi Talbir

I love your collection

I particularly love Side pipe exhausts, whether on early AMG G wagons (and later G55's etc), XJ12C Broadspeed racers, anything!

I note the Gemballa has a fine set, with your Mercedes experience do you think it would be possible to do this to a normal AMG Widebody SEC and how easy?

P.S. What ever happened to the Gemballa Gullwing SEC? The Ultimate! (your SEC is also the ultimate, I would kill for either! haha)

Kind regards

Edward
