1997 E class estate
Hi all, newbie looking for some advise please. I have just bought a 1997 E class estate and would like to know if the window switches should illuminate when the lights are on. Thanks in advance for any info....

Seriously? First post at nearly midnight which you then chase at half one in the morning because you've not had an answer. You may not be in the UK of course so might not have realised.

Thanks Matt, I had just finished work and noticed the window switches on my way home. I was hoping for an answer before getting my head down as I am very pedantic with faults and unknown gremlins with my cars...lol. All the other switches illuminate as they should.......hoping for an easy fix.....

The rear switches will not illuminate if the rear window disable switch is on.
The front ones should be illuminated whenever the lights are on.
