I have spent 2 days of my life making my new to me 2006 CLK 350 convertible in showroom condition.

I used a convertible roof cleaner then sealed it.
Cleaned every surface of the interior except the roof lining.
Applied leather balm to the seats.
Washed the car.
Clayed the paintwork.
Polished the paintwork.
Waxed the paintwork.

The results can be seen in the pics, please note it is dark blue not black.

Looks fantastic Do like the Roofless CLK
My neighbours think I am strange because I am out cleaning the car when ever I get the chance but the nights a drawing in now so will have to be a weekend thing

Well worth the effort it looks fantastic!
Those AMG wheels set it off a treat! :)

What did you use on the roof?........Now get out and drive it to get the rust off the disc's:thumb:
Look's amazing good work.

Tony.

I used Wonder Wheels convertible roof cleaner and then the sealer, it is not as new but looks a whole lot better now.
Next job is to paint the brake callipers in yellow.

As I have the sport front callipers and they look a little tatty it will smarten things up, and look cool.

Silver would look better IMO but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It looks such a nice original car it would be a shame to deviate from the 'standard immaculate' look.
Once you've been bitten by the cabriolet bug its hard not to have one in the household.

Looks tidy mate. Done a great job there :)

Try some gtechniq .... It's really good for fabric roofs. My wife's car Is coated with the fabric gard and it great all year round.
