So when I bought my W211 it came with 2 years free servicing, 11 months later its now counting down from 30 days to B Service.
What's the odds on my dropping the car off at the dealership and then collecting it with nothing to pay:rolleyes:

I know the pads will need changing but should all fluids / filters etc... be included, any members experienced the 2 years free servicing?

You lost me John.....

11 months and 30 days = approx 12 months which is obviously within the 2 years of your free servicing??

Never been in the position to get free servicing, but surely you would pay for the parts needed if your brake pads need replacing but the fluids and the labour are free?:dk:

My car came with 2 years free servicing and yes it should include all filters/fluids etc. I believe mine also included an atf change.

As for dropping it off with nothing to pay, who knows what any garage finds above and beyond normal service items:rolleyes:

Try Citigate VW sometime, they're past masters of that;)

Ok re-reading I understand the thread.....

Free servicing should include all service items required for that scheduled maintenance. Check if the ATF needs doing, I believe it is part of the service schedule these days?

so called "free servicing" could prove extremely costly - check your agreement - you might find it could be far cheaper to pay for the servicing elsewhere.

Cheers Guys,

Was a bit of a tongue in cheek comment, I realise things like pads will need to be paid for, just hope they don't find lots more things that need fixing.
They shouldn't, they gave it an inspection a couple of months ago when the replaced the glow plug relay under warranty and sent me a video ......final comment from the technician being "I can find no faults with this vehicle".....:thumb:
