2000 E240 2.4 V6 Mis Fire/fault Code

Please can somebody help with this one, scanned with snapon modis multi misfire detected on various cylinders, code po 203D angle variation of camshaft to crankshaft[ maxium angular veriation in retard] i,m all so on tick over getting a very slight popping back through the air filter, have changed all spark plugs but after short run same codes back on again, have read so many different theads possible coil packs, ht leads, maf sensor, wondered if the above code was a streched timming chain???? any advise on this one would be very very appreciated, thankyou

Ignore it.

If it was an issue the car would not run.

Fitted new air flow sensor to day has made no difference, just like to add that the car drive,s fine until driven really hard and then engine management light comes on and is running rough and does so untill codes are removed can anyone shed any light on this code please P2O3D variation of camshaft to crankshaft angular variation
