2001 s210 cd changer

Hi all

I've got an issue with my CD Changer on my 2001 S210 320 CDI. CD changer was working fine but now not working. I cannot remove the cartridge.
I've looked at the fuse boxes in the engine bay and under the rear seat but found no fuse for the changer (unless I missed it!).

Any help what I should check and how please?!

Appears to be a common problem and often mechanical issue with the changer itself rather than an electrical fault. The first thing to try which worked for me and others on here is to keep the ejection button pressed whilst giving the CD cartridge a few sharp taps with a blunt instrument. This should eject the cartridge but may require one or two goes.Altenatively try sliding a plastic ruler or similar between the bottom of the cartridge and the case and move it gently from left to right holding eject button at same time. Otherwise its a strip down - not difficult and dont let a dealer tell you a new cd player is required.
