2002 270cdi ml gearbox problems

just found the forum so new to all this, just wondered if any one has had the same problem i have a 2002 270cdi ml automatic the problem is when it's changing gear,it's like having a manuel gearbox and and not lifting your foot off the accelarator when pressing the clutch to change gearg gear its as if the clutch is slow to release when changing gear and the car revs it's nuts off before going into gear any one got any ideas would be great

Welcome to the forum!

The car needs to go on STAR, this should reveal the fault codes.

There may be a problem with the electro-plate in the gearbox.

STAR is your best option, instead of guessing.

gearbox problems

just had the gear box serviced and now a new electronic plate but still have the same problem engine flairing between gear changes and getting stuck in gear anyone got any ideas would be great thanks

Was the old gearbox oil black in colour ? sounds like the internal clutch plates are slipping. Probably need a new gearbox or that one overhauling
