Hello Enthusiasts!

The option is selected on the computer but nothing happens. When I push the physical button they fold all the way but with a nasty click sound to finish. They don’t fold back out after pressing the button or on start up. I have to physically push them back out which is not ideal.

Anyone else experienced this?
Is it a quick and easy fix?
Do I need a part replacing or is this one for an electrical mechanic?
Costs?

Thank you all!

Could be the fold motors, but failure of both at the same time is unlikely. I had to replace my O/S one, door card needs to come off to get at the loom connector. Stripping the mirror housing is a bit tricky, plastic cilps can break. I bought a second hand mirror to use for parts as MB only sell the mirror chassis @ £300.00 and the motor is not available.

Just had this problem with my CLC.
After lots of reading and was just about to do a very risky drilling fix I saw on you tube my specialist suggested changing the lighting switch.
Hey presto! Problem solved. Would never have considered it and it only cost me £30...

Hello Mike, thank you for this. Do you have a hyperlink to the YouTube video at all?
