My car has 123,000 on the clock. This issue seems to rear its ugly head while driving on the motorway.

After a short period of time there is no kick down when I put my foot down. It's very much a gradual speed increase. It's fine around town. When I toe it there is a noticeable increase in speed and the Brabus box does its job.

Any ideas what is preventing the same when motorway driving? Thanks in advance.

It is in limp mode (I assume it won't rev over 300 either), read codes.

Fault codes are logged by the car and don’t always trigger the engine management light on the dash

Okay. Thanks for the heads up. Why does it only play up on motorway runs and not around town?

No idea buddy , hopefully a fault code will be logged though . Otherwise it’s all guess work.

Yep. I'll have to get it to my indi and see what it shows. Still goes well for an old boat though. Love it

Is it still able to build revs to over 2500?

From looking at other posts it could be the turbo actuator that's playing up.
