200k is nothing for the w124! my w210 e300td has 400k on it thats just running in !!!! one owner from new!

Those numbers don't align. I recon it's been clocked! ;)

the numbers align once its rolled over and settled. they always start to move slightly just before the next one rolls over.

I assume thats not 582 miles on just over half a tank??

Seems like high mileage to me, LOL.

My '91 300TE is only on 194k ;). I completely forget and disregard this number. Engine/suspension/gearbox/brakes etc all feel nice and fresh.

To be honest, there's not a hint of wear on the driver's seat (seriously), steering wheel or pedals, and maybe just the slightest signs of use on the gear shift. I wonder how many of these W124s are actually showing the correct mileage?

Couple of blisters starting on the front outer wing at the bottom, but other than that it shows you just how well built these cars were when new

I feel guilty for using it as a mobile skip! :o

2 hands not on the steering wheel, tut tut :D

Seriously its a lovely car and its in top nick both inside and out Derek and should serve you well :D

You should've kept the Audi Convertible for that...

It would've looked good with 'Level loads only' down the sides..

I used to on many occasions :D

Once the novelty had worn off, and I was re-furbishing a house, it came in very handy until I got the first 124 estate.

Was great for picking up bulky/long items. You could just fold the roof down, plonk stuff on the back seat and then cover it with the roof again if neccessary.

Also good for copper pipe, guttering etc.

I saw it as revenge for poor reliability :(. Was a lease car deal after all, so when 2 years was up I just handed it back without issue ;)

You could have let the old girl stretch her legs for the big 200! 60mph :(
