2013 c250 rear arms

Don’t have any pictures just yet. But the rear passenger wheel has a little too much play. Upon inspection there is play in all of the suspension arms.

The issue seems to be some of them can’t be removed that easy. My father in law does my mechanic work and has done well on the merc so far. But he reckons he can’t get the bolts out of at least one of the arms. Due to not enough space to actually slide the bolt out. Are we missing a trick here? Is he being dramatic lol? He felt he would almost have to drop the rear subframe to be able to access the bolts.

Any insights at all would be great.

If the rear subframe is similar to earlier models it will have to be dropped don to remove one (each side) of one of the links.

Yeah doesn’t sound like great design at all lol I honestly hoped he was being dramatic. Seems not!
