2015 E250 S212 rear brake change

Afternoon all,

I'm wanting to change the disks and pads all-round on my car but just wanted to check before I get her in bits do the rear calipers need the wind back tool?.thanks so muchJoe

Joe......I am guessing.....
That it doesn’t need a wind back tool, they will be push back, especially if you have the typical parking brake “shoes in disc”.
There will be someone here soon to correct me if I’m wrong.

If you have an electronic handbrake, you will have to 'wind them back' using the in-car menu. If you do a search on youtube, there are clear instructions. Otherwise, it's a 'push-back' as suggested above.

Thanks fellas. No it's not electronic is the foot pedal handbrake thankfully, not a fan on the electronic types. Much appreciated
