210 diff oil

Hi all,
thinking of changing the diff oil in my '98 e240 estate, whats the right grade to use? cheers, John

should take EP90 ,a good motor factors would confirm this.

I have some 80/90 in the garage, is that ok?.

Comma book says ep90 but i reckon 80/90 will be fine.

Ive got some syn 75/80 in mine but only because it was free

There's nothing special about the oil in these diffs.
EP90
Hypoid 90
80/90
Synth 75/80

Only thing not to use is Limited-Slip Diff lube
(As these are not LSDs)
