Hi,

I'm after upgraded from seats for my 202 after my other half had a back operation. On ebay 210 seats in elegance spec seem much more common than 202 seats. Would they fit?

Are there any other interiors that are bolt-on substitutes? e.g. W203?

I cannot find the ultra rare orthopaedic seats anywhere. Current seats are manual. No need to upgrade to electric.

Regards

Tim

No 210 seats will not fit. They maybe of similar shape but are longer and wider. Same goes with other seats. I think only 202 seats will fit if you are looking to upgrade the seats from another Mercedes...maybe someone else can advise in more detail.

And as you have said the rare orthopedic seats are very rare to come across as they are usually snapped up straight away and they can be expensive. They do tend to pop on eBay from time to time if you keep an eye out

I do have a search on e-bay for the orthopedic seats - but think there's several different ways of spelling 'orthopedic' in the e-bay community!

keep an eye out for C43 interiors, remember for the ortho function you will need to add a new vacuum pump and associated piping, also some star coding needed.

Yeah, W210 interiors are huge compared to W202s.

Though as Alps says, the C43 had Orth seats, they were all electric and and heated, so mods would be nessacary, to fit them to the O/P's car.
Have you considered just retro fitting heated seats to your car? As I suffer from back problems and is by far the best option on my 43 for relieving my bad back, I find the ortho settings only hold you in the seat more securely.
You might try the front seats out of a CLK, little bit easier to come by IMO but will probably still need to adapt the wiring etc.
