My local dealers has just phoned to remind me our car is due for its MOT. They are collecting it tomorrow and will be carrying out a safety check on the front ball joints.

There has been one TSB about this which our vehicle had when it was serviced, but I am wondering if it is worth owners making a quick phone call to their dealership to see if their vehicle requires this latest inspection?

Regards,
John

Suggestion - folks, don't call your own dealerships, call John's dealership - they seem to be a cut above, and might actually type the number in and check! :-)

Inspected and replaced :D

If I ever buy a new MB, I will get my people to speak to John's people and see if they can draw up a contract for John to manage the purchase and manage the booking and collections of all services, warranty claims, recalls etc.

Or should I start a consultancy specialising in the finer arts of communications, tact and diplomacy skills? :) :)

What a pity this 'best forum ever' cannot even rectify the e-mail notification. ;) I wonder if my dealership could resolve the problem?
