I've noticed recently that my 9k miles S212 occasionally 'let's itself down' when parked for a while. This can be overnight, or a couple of days and when I return to the vehicle it is noticeably down at the rear - I get the message "please wait - vehicle rising" when I turn it on. But not always . Yesterday I returned to the car after 5 days away and the suspension was not down at all. Is this normal, or should I take into dealer?

Hello

I would take it in while its under warranty etc, any issues should be picked up when they 'plug' it in.

Fixed

Took it into the dealer. There is a Technical Note for this issue - a small number of the self-levelling struts have a microscopic leak which means the car sinks when left for a while. My dealer fitted new struts under warranty. Hopefully (time will tell) it will not re-occur.

They will leak if parked at an angle and that is normal. If it goes down over a few days without use, this is also normal.

If it goes down overnight on a flat road then you have an issue.
