I want to buy a cheap mercedes to use everyday that will be reliable and not too expensive to run and after searching various web pages I cam across the 250TD which seems to combine good MPG, power, reliability and longevity....
I have a chance at buying a 250TD 1998 118k miles, immaculate condition inside and out, MOT until July 2011... but its manual and white.... price £1750ono
It seems like a good price to me. I have heard that it must be auto for a petrol but dont know about diesels.
Any views on this car ?
