My local tyre shop is usually a little cheaper than black circles but only be a few pounds, I think you'll be very lucky to get much cheaper unless you go for part worns.

Sizes like that are always going to be expensive.

Dont buy secondhand tyres, i know they are expensive and when you are buying more than one it is tempting, i did against it feeling right 2 as new, i checked them as well, after a week one had a split in the side wall covered in with the black polish they use after a couple of washes it showed up took them back, with all the rubbish apologies you hear and he would get me another, which he did and that was no good, he said he would get another and that had a repair in the side wall he was covering up, these people will sell you anything, i got my money back and would never touch them again. Your life and anyone else in the car is depending on them four bits of rubber. JUST THINK HARD IS IT WORTH IT !!!

Not all part worn tyre shops are rip offs, used many in the past with no problems.

As for deals on new, if you need them then most deals will be near the online shops, if you still have time you can pick up new deals on eBay , I buy mine when I see them cheap and stock up as it's a consumable that you will always need.

You have Mytyres.com
I have found even if you save a small amount online you have to pay top price for quality fitting and balancing.
Best bet phone around with one make in mind and get the best price.

I would Say for new Camskill tend to be pretty good price wise. I know it sounds a little funny but Kwik Fit sometimes have a 25% off deal on a set of tyres which work out well. Just make sure if you get them to fit the tyres to be ultra careful with your alloys!!

Asda tyres! Fitting and balancing included at a local nationwide company : s

camskill.com or .co.uk can't remember!!!

Poor customer service recently. They were let down by courier company and Camskill weren't really interested. When I contacted them after a week to chase the order, they just offered to cancel it. I explained that wasn't much use as I needed the tyre!!

Always worth checking a few sites, as prices can be all over the place,

Agree with all that's been said so far re the likes of Camskill, Mytyres etc.

Also try www.oponeo.co.uk and www.tyres-pneus-online.co.uk

Should stress I've not used either of them yet but when sourcing prices for winter tyres they seemed to be the cheapest.

Whilst they did damage the alloy (long story and did get sorted in the end) local MB dealer was actually fairly competitive once you start naming websites and prices as they realise they need to step up if they want your business.

Also good old Kwik Fit will often price match some web prices, it just depends how much is left in it for then as to whether it's worth their while.

Everybody has their preference on tyres but I often check www.tyrereviews.co.uk as a useful guide on what's performing well.

Try HiQ ( HiQ Online | Tyres ) if you have a local branch. I got some 265 Pirelli P-Zeros for my Audi from them for £210 each - I thought it was too good to be true when he first told me the price. This was in person however, not online. The best price I could squeeze out of Kwikfit or Formula 1 was around £325/tyre.

I just ordered Vredestein's for my CLK from Camskill. I've found they're generally cheapest with quick delivery to boot.
