C63 W205 - Moving from 18 inch to 19 inch wheels ... how hard is it likely to be?

They look great...did you say they were up for sale?
I don't have them up for sale as such, as they're safely stored with me and not in my way. However, I'm happy to consider selling them to someone who's in the community and has a car they'll suit and who'll get use from them. I'd sooner do that than sell to a trader. I normally end up just keeping all my winter wheels and tyres e.g. these are stored with another set for one of the last registered CLS 63S.

Fair enough, I'll keep an eye out for a set online (preferably black) or buy a new set and keep the 18's and put winters on them.

Sorry, I must have misunderstood as I thought these were of interest to you. No worries, good luck with your search.

It's my fault, I read it that you were good to keep them. If you are happy to sell I am definitely interested, any idea on how much you would like?

I've not given it any thought, actually. I suggest at first I get the part numbers from the wheels so you're certain they're a fit for your car. I'll do this tomorrow and then I guess you can check with Mercedes or maybe online that they're ok. In the meantime, if you have a look online you might get an idea of prices and then we can discuss. Does that sound ok?

The wheels were ordered for my January 2017-registered C63S Coupe. The wheels and tyres came as a full OEM winter pack from Mercedes via my MB dealer. For summers I was using the 19/20" wheel option the car was delivered with.

Front wheel is Part Number A205 401 62 00. Size 9Jx19H2 ET25. Currently shod with 255/35 R19 96V Pirelli SottoZero Winter (all the tyres are virtually new)
Rear wheel is Part Number A205 401 63 00. Size 10.5Jx19H2 ET57. Currently shod with 285/30 R19 98V Pirelli SottoZero Winter

If you're going to take this further you will need to PM me, but I don't think you have the minimum 30 posts to do that (I think that's how it works). I don't want to disrespect the rules on the Forum, where the posts rule is designed to restrict people coming on just to buy stuff and then disappearing. Not sure how you deal with that.

Hope the above helps. Let me know what you want to do.

Hi, I also do not want to breach any rules, this is my first Mercedes and this forum has been an invaluable source of info and help. I appreciate all of your effort and the part numbers line up with an online part finder I found and a wheel size website as well. My car is a late 2016 model so they would go straight on. Rather than try to get around the rules I'll leave it for now but very much appreciate your time and effort. I'll keep posting and maybe we can re-visit in the future once I hit the magic 30 posts if they are still available.

Thanks again.

No problem....I've put them back into storage

I had 19s on my C63 and have 19s on my E400 Cab. Haven't found either too hard unless the road surface has ben horrible (1 mountain pass in Switzerland was cobbled, that wasn't much fun)
With my searching one of the key questions is, “Will these wheels clear my callipers “

OP - is it worth looking on MB Approved Used and finding a C63 like yours but with the 19s? You could then just go and test drive one back to back with your current car?

I'm looking to swap my 19s for 18s if you're interested

Hi, I would have been very interested but I recently bought a set of Concaver 19’s.

I will shortly be selling my original AMG 18’s with nearly new Pirelli P-Zeros if you are interested.
