280SE opinions wanted please

Cheers - Ian, do you have any pics of the box in that 380, by any chance?

None of the links in the above refer to any particular gear box, so they are neither here nor there.

you have these versions of the 722.3 series

722.329/341/342/343/344/351/352/357/359/361/363/367/368/369/371.

you have these, and they are not the same as above

722.350/353/354/355/356/358/362/364/365/366/370.

this is the next

772.372/380/382/384/385/394/396/397/398/399.

this one is on its own

772.331

Then the next series

772.400/403/411/414/420/421/423/424/425/426/427/428/431/434/441/443.

Then these

772.500/501/502/503/504/505/506/507/508/509/510.

then came the 7.22.6 series

722.600/601/604/605/606/607/608/609/611/614/616/617/618/629/634/639/660/661/662/664/665/666//661/662/664/665/689/695/699/996.

This is getting hard work.

these boxes used in the 202 the 722.421-423-424-425-426-427 later they used the 722.6 box

All of the boxes above are 4 speed, some kick into first, some do not, on the 202 018 for instance it will kick down to 1st and go to 50 kmh in S and 33kmh in W, before changing into 2, where as the 202 023 does it in S 54kmh and 37kmh in W

There are not any other boxes, if anyone need any details of a specific car or box its no problem, but saying mine does this or that is meaning less when you look at the boxes above, there are 65 boxes in the 3-4 series

but saying mine does this or that is meaning less when you look at the boxes above

But it would not be as much fun  ;).
