Is it me, or does that facelift grill not fit right agaist the headlights?

I e-mailed the guy asking a couple of questions and I've had no reply....normal questions, like have you got any service history to confirm the mileage, etc etc

just joined the site
well iv just bought the twin turbo merc , iv had replys form duncan , hes in the middle of moving house and hasnt got his computer set up yet !!!
been told there is history and has old mots from 97 through that says the mileage is true , looks good , think it was a fare price ??? just another car to my collection , iv a renault 21 turbo quadra , 550 bhp mk3 toyota supra and just added this to the collection
ill post up when iv picked it up let u no how clean it is
been trying to find out as much about them as i can , any help with the proper specs ect ?

I noticed it had sold, and had a pang of "DOH - should have bid"!!
Looks like it has the potential to be an absoloute hoot - would have loved it for myself. If the mileage is genuine it's a stonking buy. If the mileage is not genuine, what the heck it's going to be fun!!
I've only ever come across one other 300E Turbo Technics and it seems there are very few official records, so you may struggle find out too much official infomation.

Congrats on the purchase. They are fantastic cars, especially with the twin turbo conversion. Won't be as quick as the Supra but quick enough!
Doubt the mileage is genuine though. The outside bolster on the seat has alot of wear for that mileage, IMHO it would be over the 100k mark. The bolsters don't wear out on them, its a thick leather which is very durable.
Nevertheless for that money its a fun car. Not alot goes wrong with them, just make sure the oil pressure is good, and the turbos are working correctly.

renault 21 turbos are great cars , iv had 5 now , i no its french but hey good cheep fun and reliable beleve it or not

I had a feeling something like that would happen as the bloke was very busy and took ages to reply, somebody would go and get that car with the cash as she was so rare (is a 300BHP merc and she or a he, I think its a he) yet the Ebay listing would still have a Buy It Now up there, shame, that would have been such a great motor, oh well, back to looking for another AMG........
