they have always been regarded as an SL with a roof... so slightly pointless.. i mean if you want a coupe then buy an sec.. if a cabrio an SL, why would anyone want a cabrio/coupe with a fixed roof and no leg room in the back?

The styling just doesn't work for me ... that weird filler panel behind the side windows (seem to remember it was so they could re-use the windows from another car?). You very rarely see a side-on photo of an SLC
