500E seats

I had a run in a 500E last night and loved the seats.
They were not the recaros that i've seen in talbir pics.

I just wondered whether the standard seats on the 500E were the same for all W124's or just for that model. Any ideas?

they were recaros made for the 500e and the W124 sportline models.

Yup, as Jay said.

They are easier to identify as the ones with perforated leather centres and bigger bolsters.

Usually find sets flying around on eBay.

they are lovely and very rare seats.it took me years to find them.as a metter of fact i have change all the interior,because the seats.

the perforated centres as opposed to the slats??

in which case i think i have the Sportline seats in mine

have not i heard that the 500e seats have 4 stitched sections per cushion (bottom and back) whereas my normal ones just have 3 sections?

Yup that is the case.

Rather annoyingly though they weigh as much as the sun!

If I was a bit less caring about originality i'd love some GT3 seats in it.
