I don't think they have to have them, but must work if they do.

Perhaps this comes under the rules about wraparound indicators? If you can see the front indicator flashing when you stand 1000mm to the side of the rear bumper they can pass.

like it a lot, very nice

Maybe because it's a Personal Import and over 10 years old?!!

MOT : Side repeaters are required on all cars with registration date of April 1986 or younger.

However, the MOT/VOSA clarify that if the front turn signals extend around the wing enough then it can be deemed not neccesary to have side repeaters.

In the case of w124/w126/w201/w140 this can be deemed to be the case, although different testers may have different verdict on the application of the rule.

Where on earth did you pull that one from?

Your name's not Chelsea, or Lauren Reeves, for sure...

Maybe that would explain why my 5 personally imported 124036's were mot'd and not one of them having side repeaters fitted, although I still think it may have something to do with it being a personal import and over 10 years old.

When we registered some 600+ Indian built W124 E220 Petrol and E250 Diesel's, we had to fit side repeaters on them all before they could be registered in the UK.

Wow that looks pretty nice. Is that stance standard? Looks like it has been lowered quite a bit to me? How much do we reckon this is 'worth'?

I suspect that the ride height and suspension mods would make it a nightmare on typical UK roads
