500e

Marek kindly sent me some additional photos. Interior is grey (not desirable with silver paintwork) but otherwise appears very clean.

I am tempted but currently drive an Alpina B3 3.2 which id need to sell and I think at 11k that is Charles Ironside / specialist territory.

Alpina.s can be a difficult car to shift unless its priced very keenly.

Not really, had a good offer on it already so I am tempted to sell.

I never over price cars anyway, if I want to sell I'll make sure it does :thumb:

Plus its a 98 model but with only 68k miles, so that helps :)

You know you want to Bill.....

(agree re the ironside comment)

although different testers may have different verdict on the application of the rule.

I think this is the case as I have seen a few Uk registered ones without side repeaters. And yes being over 10years old it doesn't have to go through SVA , otherwise they (SVA) would not pass it.

Didn't get away with mine though - had to install them to pass MOT

Wow that looks pretty nice. Is that stance standard? Looks like it has been lowered quite a bit to me? How much do we reckon this is 'worth'?

Definitely lowered (H&R as stated) not stock height.

And why advertise as AMG , coz of alloys??

It does look nice.. if you're into mods and upgrades:D

I am going to wait for a cheaper one to come up. I don't really like the grey leather and he has even removed the headlight wipers!!!

My uncle has had one in his garage for about 7-8 years, next time I am up north im gonna check it out. Would be sweet to have that restored, repainted in 040 black, new brakes, sensors, fully refurb the interior, diamond-cut polished original 8=holes, new door sills, the works - would be an awesome machine!

I think it has about 320,000km on the clock tho and rusty front wings. Probably loads of other problems too.

This is what you'll get for a cheaper one, lots of mileage and deferred maintenance!

Where on earth did you pull that one from?

Your name's not Chelsea, or Lauren Reeves, for sure...

From mot.co.uk:
Vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1986 must be fitted with one side repeater indicator on each side. Instead of a separate lamp, the side repeater might be part of the front direction indicator if it includes a wraparound lens.

Lamps incorporating a side repeater are marked either with an ‘E’ mark in a circle or an ‘e’ mark in a rectangle above which is a number 5.

However, some vehicles are fitted with a wraparound lens with no European approval markings. These can be tested by standing approximately 1000mm to the side of the vehicle’s rear bumper with the indicator on. If amber light can be seen coming through the front lens (not a reflection) this is acceptable.

I have no idea what the rest of your post means
