That's nothing.

The BMW E23 745i of the era had radio controls and electric front passenger seat controls hidden in the rear centre armrest. You could move the front passenger seat forward allowing huge legroom in the back.

Velour was a no cost option on 500 and 560 - if you ordered a 300 or 420 it was £1040 to have velour instead of the cloth upholstery. If you wanted leather on a 300 or 420 it was £1524.
But on a 560 you could have what you wanted. Those electrical adjusted individual seats would cost £4391 on any model other than a 560! Thats so much money back in the day. But on a 560 the same option would have been £1987. (Taken from options list from 1989.)
Personally I love the leather.

The thread title should read 560SEL with really cheap radio in the rear.....It looks like its got a Blaupunkt Boston in the front, gawd knows what the badly installed unit is in the back!
