'91 SL500 - Cambelt Change Intervals

Can anyone tell me what the change intervals are for a 91 SL500? And does anyone know how much a change costs?

Think you will find it is a duplex chain and not a belt.

If you are at under 100k dont worry about it.

Yeah - am under 100k. Used to have a Porsche 928, so was paranoid about the cambelt. Have only just bought the SL so was wondering if the same applied.

The chain only needs to be replaced if it gets noisy, it is possible that it will never need changing
