Coming from the back end if I go on the power without feeding in gently.

My theories...

1. Universal Joint.
2. Rear bushes.
3. Gearbox/engine mount.

Anyone able to comment on my theory or even other theories?

Cheers

David

Had a cracked rear spring once although there was not really a bang there certainly was a jerk toward that side.

I'm going to go for subframe bushes at first on the basis that at 137k they are probably in need of doing anyway...

ETA - saw a familiar seller on da bay - Wunderpartz. That will do nicely!

If it was a Hillman Imp I would say drive shaft doughnuts definitely but...........

Rear subframe bushes. Car is dynamically better for the change
