Morning folks
Other than manually adjusting the ac and general heating via the dials and buttons, is there any auto functions that can be used? If I’ve one gripe with the car, it’s quite tricky to adjust the climate/ fan controls as they are low down and I’m finding it more frustrating each time I attempt any sort of changes whilst driving. I noticed that when anything is altered it’s displayed briefly on the display screen, hence I was wondering if any of the climate adjustment controls can be accessed via speech recognition or any other way. It’s not a showstopper, but just a pain as the rest of the car is perfect[emoji1531][emoji1531]

Press the big button that says "Auto", set the temperatures (press the Zone button to allow them to be independent if you wish), and leave it alone.

That's what I do with my W212 and the only time I ever touch any of the other controls is to switch on the front or rear demisters in the winter.

Thanks phill
Wouldn’t that mean that the temps are set and if I wanted to make hotter or colder would then need to twist each dial to select the desired temperature? It just seems archaic for a 3 year old car and thought the the voice activation would be able to alter the temperature. I had a Mk3 FocusRS when they first came out back in early 2016 and even that had the ability to alter the temperature/ac via voice activation

Yup, just twiddle the dials to set different target temperatures.

The mistake people make with Climate Control is that they fiddle with the target temperature because they think that turning it to max (hot or cold) will heat or cool the car more quickly than if they just let the system achieve the preset target temperature of it's own accord.

There's no voice control of the heating and ventilation system.

Ah ok, guess I’m expecting too much from the system!
I’ll have a play en route to work in the morning and see how it goes. Thanks Phil[emoji1531][emoji1531]
