A Class (2006) Door Mouldings

Ive just clipped a wall, two questions, (1) is there a proper name for the plastic mouldings that run aross the external of the doors? (2) how are they fitted? Or how do I remove?

Thy stick on, you won't get them off without ruining them. New ones can be ordered already painted and come with adhesive strips attached. All old adhesive must be removed and the surface free from dirt and grease before fitting. There is a special cleaner but I have no idea where to get it from.

Ps. it's called a door moulding or protective strip.
