Hi, Very occasionally the temps warning icon pops up on the dash of my 2017 A class 180 Diesel, (LITTLE RED THERMOSTAT SYMBOL) It is intermitent - goes straight back out and the gauge goes up by a few degrees, Then drops back down. The engine temperature gauge is registering normal at around 90 degrees, - So I,m inclined not to beleive the warning light as I dont thnk the engine is genuinely overheating !!! However I,d be a fool to ignore a warning light so before I go booking it in I just if theres a known fault or any history of false warnings with this model - Or maybe a sticking thermostat valve ??? etc. Thanks in advance. Mods - Please repost if this is wrong forum area. Thnks.
