Did a www search but couldn't see anything. Has anyone ever taken The roof mechanism from a r230 sl and tried to replicate a folding roof on a clk?

No, the extra mass of all that gear would have an adverse affect on its handling, and the car may well not have ability to store such an eleborate mechanism.

Sure, it would ruin the drive but I thought a euro modder may have tried it. No more mad than Lamborghini doors on an a class!!!
