Had a work commitment on the South coast near Shoreham on Wednesday. Nice sunny drive home sat behind an A45 for about 10 miles. Not yet seen one on the road and must say great car. Very impressive navigating the roundabouts and great pull off the lights. Thumbs up for those members that have them on the forum :thumb:

It does feel more nimble than the C63 though there is noticeable turbo lag so not as immediate when you out your foot down unless you keep the revs up. Still loving mine though:)

If turbo lag's an issue, take it to visit Acid. Problem solved!

Give us a shout if you are interested in the A45 Tuning options, we are worlds most popular tuner for the 45 platform (Over 120 cars worldwide) and hold the record for worlds most powerful and fastest A45 and CLA45.

Be wary when hunting around though as many systems claim to be the same as ours but they are far from it.

Cheers,

Matt

Must admit after 7 weeks owning my AMG all the hype about the car is true - it is a fantastic machine - drives superbly, holds the road like glue & acceleration is phenomenal - After driving to Scotland on holiday and now nearing 2K miles my love of it grows each day. Yes like any car there niggles like no keyless start, not able to fully use the On-Command features because I use a Pay-as-go iPhone, DAB signal not good - but these are well forgotten when you drive it - flipping brilliant car :bannana:. How are other owners feeling about their A45 AMG's?

My Mum got an A45 AMG in March this year and having driven it a bit it is an awesome car. Really nice car to drive and be driven in. Would like to hear the louder exhaust option in real life as this was considered but would worry that it would be too loud and maybe drone a bit.

cheers

Nice first post.

I followed one off an island and down a slip road in my 63 - it was very impressive.

i took delivery of my new A45 yesterday, face has big cheesy grin permanently. Mental acceleration

I am really interested to hear more about these. My wife has just been given a company car and guess what is on the list!

It has to be a 4 door and 'not a sports car' so I guess if we lose the body kit we should get away with it. The 4x4 will also be useful for the winter months, and with the company paying for maintenance including winter tyres I think we are a goer. Although, at least on the Swiss configuration the options are pricey - 600chf for DAB on top of the COMAND?

There is no point getting another big car, besides the garage will be quite tight with the BMW and my cleaning stuff anyway so a big car will not fit.

I take it the sports exhaust is essential ;) is it switchable?

When I still had my C63 estate, I was following one of these to Goodwood and I was very impressed. I think being in a C63 intimated the A45 driver so occasionally he was hard on the brakes and somewhat wobbly but that car can shift and makes B roads look like autobahns.

That made me chuckle. It is humorous on many levels. Nothing derogatory, I assure you.
