Indeed. My question was what warranty does the car come with? His reply was ‘it’s 15 year old’....I think I’ll give it a miss.

That blue one looks a nice car but it looks quite expensive and it’s an early model prone to rust I believe?

Well i had a 2002 (52) and that didnt have any rust, nor did my 2003 (53) and nor has my (04)

What i would budget for though is a Radiator change just tobe on the safe side.

Yes, I echo that... trader and no warranty tells you all you need to know.

Still, closer inspections normally weed out the shit ones!

How much service history is missing?
The seller states "Complete with an almost full main dealer (printed) & specialist service history"
Doesn't sound like much is missing and if the recent history stacks up I don't see too much problem.

Id still try and get the price reduced for the inevitable bits that will need fixing.

Everything said is immaterial. The OP has paid a deposit and it collecting the car soon. Nice enough car, but not 'rare' or likely to 'rise in value' any time soon as advocated by the seller. OP, pick the thing up and enjoy it.
