ABS - ESP - BAS lights

Hi All,

Driving home tonight and the dash info beeped and said a bulb had gone - not long after the ABS - BAS & ESP warning showed up!!!!

I pulled over turned the ignition off and took key out -I put the key back in but it would not turn. After a minute or so the key turned and the car started. About a mile up the road they lit up again.

When I got home I had a quick look - with the engine running (parked), pushing the brake pedal the brake lights lit and also the nearside side light lit up to. When I turned on the head lights (the dash said bulb out) the brake lights light up.

Any ideas / suggestions welcome.

Try turning the steering from lock to lock(that should clear the abs esp bas fault message),then get the car on star to see what codes show up(could be a faulty brake light switch but you can't be sure until you get it checked)

Turned steering wheel lock to lock 3 times ABS (etc) lights now OK & bulb issue gone too.

Havn't took it for star check but will soon. Any ideas how much it costs for a star check?? (Roughly will be OK).
