ABS warning light. Came and went.

Was driving at the weekend on the motorway when ABS warning light came on, followed by messages "ESP not working go to workshop" then "ABS not working etc etc " then "tyre deflation *system not working". Also cruise and speed limiter weren't working.*
No matter how often I stopped when I restarted the car the above came on.*
Next day I started the car and all the above came on again. We went for a drive and 5 minutes later the ABS light went out and all working fine.*
That's now been the case for 2 days and 300+ miles.*

Any ideas? Just a faulty computer glitch ?*

It's warning no good will come out of test driving a BMW....
