HI Guys
I am hoping someone can help, had my car into MB as the AC light had gone out and was getting no cold air, they said they tested the AC and needed to regas, this was done and pressure tested and all signed off. I picked the car up and used it about 5 times over about 6 weeks and then the AC light turned off again with no cold air. Took it back to MB and they advised that the condenser was leaking and that it needing replacing and quoted me over £1500, I told them that it was too expensive and picked the car up and took it to a specialist, he advised that it had been pressure tested for 3 hours cold this morning with no drop in pressure, I spoke to MB and asked how they came to the conclusion that the condenser needed changing and they said because it was the most common fault! The specialist is now hot testing the amount of liquid in and out to see if we lose any fluid that way, as no one can see the condenser and it's fairly protected does anyone have any ideas??
