Hi,

I had an accident recently, and stupidly i didnt check the roundabout before i left.

Is there anywhere i can find the layout/overview of roundabouts?

This was quite a big roundabout, just off the M1 junction 14,

Thanks

Hi,sorry to hear of your misfortune(hope nobody was injured),have you tried google earth?

or you may want the next one down near the total garage..

i think you will find that the layout has changed since google imaged it.

cheers guys, looks like google earth will do the trick!

thanks

actually it looks like it was j13, and i cant get a decent picture on g earth! any other options?

thanks

google maps worked fine for me - locate the junction & switch to satellite view & zoom in

yeah but i think that junction is completely changed since those pictures where taken

Try Earth then. Sometimes, that's a bit newer. It's just harder to get a reading off as you have to sort of drive through it rather than get the bird's eye view.

m.

no earth dont do it either (strange i think the work was completed over a year ago).

basically i was coimng from the north, and was turning right across the motorway. i woiuld like to know what roadmarking there are in the roundabout BEFORE you cross the motorway

Drop down to StreetView? Those photos are taken at different times to the aerials, obviously, although from the shot below I see they're quite old in this area (Oct '09 and Oct '10 (during the works)).

Worth driving there and parking in that layby as per my photo? then take some snaps?

The StreetView pics from on the roundabout are from a year later, when the changes were in progress.

There are two jamcams on that junction. At this time, both are out of action but may come back online later. If you're lucky, one might be looking at your junction:

yes but its a couple of hours round trip from me, so rather not. And i get a feeling it's just gonna add to my costs...
