Hi

I use a windows mobile (6.5) phone which syncs up to Exchange on SBS 2003.

For the past 18 months I have been lazy and had been using a different domain for my website rather than try and deal with DNS settings for redirecting mail to the server.

In a moment of madness today, I have using a DNS client, directed my main domain back to my webhost, and set up a A record to name my mail server (exchange.domainname.co.uk) which is then directed to my servers static IP. The mx records are then set to send mail to either my server and then onto my mail backup solution that holds the mail. It all seems to work so far.

However my phone no longer syncs. The phone was only ever directed at the servers public IP address, so the DNS records should not have confused it. The phone can see the emails there - it says 8 to update, but then does nothing.

Any ideas of where I should be looking?
