adjust exhaust w124

hi

ever since i fitted a new centre and rear box on my 1994 E300D W124, the rear backbox is too far to the passenger side so it rubs the bodywork occasionally.

at the moment i am pulling it more over to the drivers side with a ratchet strap on the exhaust hanger which helps, but its not ideal.

i need to adjust it as its annoying.

is there a way to adjust it from the centre to the front so that it will move left/right at the rear a bit better?

no its all standard. the rear box is a pattern part (hence the bad fitting) however if i can adjust it all slightly towards the drivers side from before the centre box (and therefore moving the rear a bit) it would do the trick.

alternatively i can basically use a really strong rubber mount on the drivers side to basically pull it closer tot he drivers side than the passenger but i'd rather not have it under constant strain.
