i do also have a 1970 bay window vw camper which rocks:rock:

They do indeed!

And having a bay means you are no stranger to rust, should you find any on the ML ;)

Cheapest new shape I saw was 19K on flea bay ML350

Pleanty for 22K - 25K

12K to 15K certainly to buy as a private person I wouldn't think are about? Maybe big auction house.

Price isnt that high... for that spec its not bad at all if you are buying from the trade with warranty.

That 9,990 one does not have the alcantara or sat nav..

Comand Sat Nav adds £1K to the price of a used ML.

If it has 7 seats then id say its actually a bargain...

You wont get a decent new shape for less than £20K and thats the basic 280... decent 320's start at 24-25..

That 16K one will be hiding something for sure.

No nav, but add a decent system that sounds good, has bluetooth, plays and lists MP3's and will take an ipod for £500-1000.

The New Pioneer has 32k colours so you can mtach the interior perfectly too.

This unit looks particularly good, the comand units are quite frankly too expensive, and for navigation (which is what I'd primarily use it for) not that good.

If aftermarket units can be integrated to this standard, there's a lot to be said for buying without comand and saving a big chunk of money.

I wouldnt buy a 4x4 without having a good look underneath it first. Even though is biggest adventure has probably been the school run, its better to double check just in case. Good luck!

.

2006 320cdi at Wakefield MB dealer with only 41k miles for £20,994
2005 ML320cdi at Blackburn dealer, 41k miles, at £20,994

Worth looking at approved used on the MB website as the dealers are very competitive at the moment.

Hawk... the dealers are getting very cheeky at the moment... the one you see advertised will almost certainly be sold and they will show you a higher priced alternative...
Also they tend to try and make the cash back in extras..

Hello

I've had black cars sice 1998, that was my first brand new car.

Black cars command a slightly higher sale price and usually easier to sell.

Eg, our daughter got his irst brand new car/Ford KA, black clour, came with free insurance & Ford discount vi her uncle who works at the Fod Motor co - she had 3 new ford Ka's, all of them in black, sold to th first buyer that came around and many, many enquries. Then the free insurance finished & diff in price between a black & red ka was almost 400 quid via ford discunt - boy did we have trouble selling that car, hardly any enqueries, but as carwas low miles lokked after, sold to the first buyer

As almos any dealer, butnot the one you are going to buy from, black cars command a higher price

Well, not what I found. When looking for my E estate I contacted several dealers and all had the car that they advertised. I bought one of the cheapest advertised E estates: 2008, E220cdi Avantgarde automatic, memory seats, parktronic, leather, tinted windows, telephone pre wiring etc etc. New list price £41k and I got it 6 months old for a fiver under £25k. There are some real bargains out there and many dealers are very anxious to shift the metal. I agree they desperately want you to take MB finance, supaguard and gap insurance at silly prices, but I said no to all three.

As for 4x4's, with LandRover sales down 58% in October compared with a year ago, the signs seem to be that yesterday's 'most popular' is today's 'no thanks'.
