E220 CDI AV (new)
I've just had my car serviced for the first time at 11800 mls, ahead of schedule, (taking advantage of my local dealers bogof offer!). The car said B due in 1700 mls , and now its telling me service D in 9800mls.
Two questions, what happened to A and C ; and what is involved in D?

My car has now done 13000 miles and is saying service D is due in 11000 miles, I've not had a service and I'm not sure if the car had it b4 i bought it since it was a demo with higher than av miles.

So I'm confused to where the A,B.C services were done?

I had the first service at 19K miles, that was a B service and the computer had about 500 miles left on the count down. After they reset it, it said Service C due in 9200 miles. Strange we all have different results, I guess its based on milleage.

I thought just having an A and B service was bad, you guys have A, B, C & D? I'd hate to be on the receiving end of a D service... the ASSYST B services are bad enough. :p well on my wallet.

Interestingly, I've had my car from new and it aways told me the first service due was a B.
I'm on good terms with a service manager going back a no of years across different marques and he was able to tell me that there is a cut off at 13000 miles between A and B services.I was advised that before this mileage all you need is an oil change ( A ) but after it is a B.
Perhaps I'm reading too much into this, but since you can reset the assyst yourself, and even set due dates for work, why couldn't a dealer set it up so that the only services you need are the big ones?lets just say that had I got my car serviced as per assyst the mileage would have been 13500 ish.B?
Funny that!
