Air Con on an E240 Avantgarde 1998

Hi

I am looking at an 1998 E240 Avantgarde which is for sale as a Jaguar dealer. He is saying it does not have air con, but I think it does. It has the E/C button on the dash (as I understand it the economy button to turn the air con off).

Can anyone let me know if they think this is right as it seems odd that someone would have a top spec E240 with out aircon!

Think you are right. Why don't you switch it on and see if it cools?

yep the EC button defiantly means it has AC... to be sure open the hood and check for the AC compressor, Its basicly right under your nose as you pop the hood

When the dealer says it doesn't have A/C he probably means it doesn't work so best to check yourself
