Aircon trouble

Hi all,
The other day my Air-conditioning stopped working, the light on the button next to the Auto button is constantly on and no cold air is forthcoming, any help/advice would be gratefully received.

Given the age of your car, I guess it's from the time when if the light is on then the aircon is off (ECO mode).

The light will come on and stay on if the pressure in the aircon system is too low. It's often caused by a leak although other faulty components could also cause it.
