Hello, looking for some help

Before I book it in, are there any simple checks I can make to diagnose the issue?

The car has been asking for a 'visit to the workshop' for about a week. situation is that the car has now dropped at the rear and if you try and raise the car the front does not operate either.

I am not sure if my independent has Star, can you diagnose without?

Apart from a fuse, any other thoughts?
Thanks

S

Star would be the best option.

could just be a hole in one of the pipes, however even if it is, its probably burnt the pump out.

I have has a bellow collapse before.

booked in, one side seems to have dropped a lot more than the other, maybe the issue is here. It did take two days of sitting around to end up like that. Initially, both sides sat at the same height.

Probably a hole in the bellow and the pump has burnet out or it may have blown the 40 amp fuse under the drivers carpet

update
the car was fixed in two goes to make sure money was spent wisely.

The rear pipes to each air bag were replaced, cheap to do and stopped the car from dropping quickly. Also the relay had burnt our trying to keep the car pumped up though the pump still worked.

On checking the pump it was not operating at full pressure (about 13?) delivering 8-9. Replaced the pump and the car is back to normal. SPR Autos in Stockport did the work and were really helpful and knowledgeable.
