Does anyone know of a good wheel reconditioned in the Colchester area? My wheels on my c250 (2012) are badly pitted. Is this a common problem with these wheels?

Lepsons are in Gillingham.

Mic

JP polishing canvey. I've used them before can recommend

Does anyone know though if this is a common problem as the wheels haven't been curbed and they are only 3 years old. The corrosion is not great!

Wheelworx Colchester did a amazing job on my 18" BBS split rims after a friend kerb them on with my t5

Once they've been done properly; you'll be fine.
If they are diamond cut and lacquered however; it can tend to start going milky after a couple of winters...
Wheelworx are good... just called them today for the wife's estate- 18'' quoted me 65+ vat for each. (Seems to have gone up by a 5er...)

Seems to be. The lacquer is really thin I think, little chips which are inevitable over time that allow water to get behind which then turns milky etc.

Stay clear of harsh cleaning products be it acidic or alkali. Best thing to do is seal the wheels or even better a ceramic coating then you can keep them clean with mild shampoo.
